About the Role
We are seeking a Fleet Accounting Specialist to join our team.
The role plays a crucial part in providing financial information to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
The key tasks of this position include:
  • Processing finance rentals, terminations, and final settlements transactions for lease portfolio and third-party payments.
  • Managing urgent funding requests.
  • Daily review, correction, and communication of new business applications to relevant financiers.
  • Investigating discrepancies between SG Fleet systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations and resolving data errors related to the financial makeup of leases.
  • Updating financiers on lease changes, such as restructures and extensions.
  • Liaising with internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors or complete transactions as required.
  • Reconciling suspense GL accounts appropriately.
  • Preparing month-end balance sheet reconciliation reports.
  • Supporting specific projects, staff training, and process improvements related to funded lease transaction accuracy and reconciliation.

Key Requirements
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:
  • Prior experience in reconciliations or general ledger accounting.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on resolution.
  • Advanced Excel and macros skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with prioritisation capabilities.
  • Technical and numerical skills with thorough and accurate knowledge.
