Senior Contracts Administrator

About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our commercial operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Telstra Network project portfolio.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional with a strong background in contract administration and commercial management. You will be responsible for managing both client and supply chain commercial compliance and risk, as well as coordinating and performing contract administration responsibilities for Telstra SFMDCC Project contract packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial representative for commercial and compliance management of major Client Agreements and contracts.
  • Lead and administer Risk & Opportunity process within contracts to create a 'no surprises' culture and leverage commercial opportunities.
  • Support delivery of financial and contractual information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide project health checks and advise on potential risks and opportunities to project targets.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and registers to maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Engineering, Construction Law, or equivalent.
  • Experience in contract administration/commercial management/Quantity Surveying on projects/contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of subcontracts and mechanisms, contract law, flow throughs, and ability to negotiate terms.
  • Proven experience with engagement of high-level stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Commercial acumen: subcontract management/tendering/legal claims/administration/modelling/KPIs/profit improvement.
