Site Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a Site Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all logistics are properly planned and executed to maintain maximum efficiency and ensure client satisfaction.

You will work closely with our safety team to enforce strict compliance with our organization's safety plan, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with clients to ensure that their project schedules are maintained in the event of any disruptions.

Other key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining quality control plans, communicating quality concerns to the construction manager, and collaborating with the client to resolve labor disputes as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate site logistics planning to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate project updates and changes to clients in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the construction manager to develop action plans to address quality concerns.
  • Resolve labor disputes between unions or non-union labor as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma is required, and an applicable trade school graduate is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field construction supervision, preferably with supervisory experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is mandatory, and CPR/First-Aid certification is also required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, persuasion, assertiveness, and managerial courage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to establish and foster effective professional relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, vendors, contractors, etc.
