Project Delivery Engineer Role

As a senior project engineer, you will deploy and configure mission critical software to make the power grid safer, greener and more resilient.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will work with customers to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering expertise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet project delivery objectives.
  • Design, build, integrate and test power utility SCADA systems for energy transmission, generation or distribution utilities.
  • Perform testing and resolve identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to the troubleshooting and improvement of our capability, including local staging and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise to sales and solutions engineering teams when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field, preferably with over 3 years of experience in the electric utility industry.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computers with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML and XML.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, reporting and planning skills.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine interest in technology and improvement.
  • Will to work on-site and travel to customer sites when required.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights within Australia.
