Quarry Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quarry Site Supervisor to oversee our quarry operations in Dubbo, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage our quarry site, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency. If you have strong leadership skills, experience in quarry management, and a commitment to continuous improvement, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily quarry operations, prioritizing employee safety and productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Supervise a team of quarry personnel, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including senior management and operational teams
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quarry or mining operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with a strong track record of achieving results
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation and compliance requirements, as well as environmental management practices
  • A Certificate IV in Surface Extractions and a practicing certificate (Tier 2)
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced quarry environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency
