Job Description

We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our risk management team. The successful candidate will support the credit risk strategy team in developing, maintaining and overseeing credit risk acquisition strategies across various portfolios in retail and business lending.

  • Monitoring of acquisition strategies and portfolio quality to provide insights and mitigate risk to the business.
  • Performing deep-dive ad-hoc analysis (acquisition, portfolio, customer, affordability) to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Robust reporting and detailed tracking of implemented strategies that provide insights to senior leadership.

Precision and accuracy within the division is of the highest priority, as is timely delivery of key metrics and commentary on business strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need analytical thinking and the ability to translate data insights into business benefits. You will also need the ability to analyze and interpret financial data and present it in a logical and consumable manner.

You would be an ideal fit if you have worked as an analyst for 1-2 years within financial services and have a passion for mathematics, analytics or similar. Some experience using programming languages such as SAS, SQL, VBA, R or Python is required.
