As a healthcare professional, you will contribute to the well-being of elderly individuals in a forward-thinking and values-driven environment.

The Role

A permanent part-time position has arisen for a skilled nurse to provide exceptional care and service excellence in a fast-paced setting. You will report to the Clinical Care Coordinator and be responsible for the health and well-being of residents.

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to residents in your area, aligned with our Model of Care.
  • Be accountable for the overall health and well-being of our residents.
  • Check medication and undertake medication rounds as required.
  • Engage with families and other stakeholders to build relationships and trust.
  • Support new admissions with care and sensitivity.
  • Conduct resident assessments, care planning, and evaluations.
  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining infection control and educate staff on related policies.
  • Model best practices to ensure residents' quality of life is optimised.
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching/leadership to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing with full AHPRA registration (no restrictions).
  • Post Graduate experience (preferably 3 years).
  • Up-to-date qualifications in First Aid and CPR.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead others.
  • A warm and empathetic approach.
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process & health.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and energetic style with the enthusiasm to learn and develop.
