Job Title: SAP Data Migration Manager

This role is ideal for experienced professionals seeking to leverage their expertise in SAP data migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transferred from legacy systems to SAP platforms.
  • Develop data migration strategies, architecture, and conversion test cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders, to gather requirements.
  • Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes using data migration toolset such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, BAPI, LTMC or others.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, maintaining data quality and governance standards.
  • Ensure the impact of data migration on processes, solutions, interfaces, and integration are identified, reported, and managed.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, and addressing concerns or queries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading E2E SAP data migration projects, with in-depth knowledge of SAP modules and associated data migration tools across greenfield, brownfield, or SDT migrations.
  • Proficiency in SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and other 3rd party ETL tools for data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management with experience using MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
