We are seeking an experienced legal secretary/administrator/'career' paralegal to join our winning national Chemistry/Life Sciences team as a highly valued KEY member. As the RIGHT HAND to 2 outstanding patent attorneys, you will enjoy the variety stimulation+ satisfaction in assisting with the protection, commercialisation and enforcement of intellectual property.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing & proof-reading various correspondence and documents;
  • uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals;
  • liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements and amendments;
  • general administration (eg diary management, arranging travel & meetings).

We are looking for someone who is:

  • an experienced legal secretary/administrator/'career' paralegal in any area/s of law including specifically minimum 1 year (or more) in intellectual property (preferably patents);
  • highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word+Outlook)with a fast typing/accuracy (min 55wpm+);
  • has outstanding communication+ interpersonal skills+are a proven team player;
  • has high accuracy+ effectively meet deadlines;
  • committed to furthering your own SUCCESS to the MAX with a 1st-Class employer of choice.

You will also enjoy generous staff benefits and life friendly+ WFH flexibility (up to 2-3 days/wk from home). Our salary range is $65,000-$85,000.
