About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our winning national Chemistry/Life Sciences team as a trusted right-hand member to two outstanding patent attorneys. As a key contributor, you will enjoy the variety, stimulation, and satisfaction of assisting with the protection, commercialisation, and enforcement of intellectual property.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and proof-read various correspondence and documents;
- Upload documents and maintain accurate information on client portals;
- Liaise with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements, and amendments;
- Conduct general administration tasks, including diary management, arranging travel, and meetings.

You are:
- An experienced legal secretary/administrator/'career' paralegal with a minimum of 1 year in intellectual property (preferably patents);
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) with fast typing accuracy (min 55wpm+);
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proven teamwork experience;
- Accurate and able to meet deadlines effectively;
- Committed to furthering your own success with a 1st-Class employer of choice.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000-$90,000 per annum
