Health Services Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team in Sydney as a Health Services Coordinator.
This role offers an opportunity to develop and extend administration skills in a friendly, well-supported environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and being the first point of contact for families;
- Making and managing appointments for numerous therapists;
- Collecting patient information, maintaining confidentiality, and accurate data entry;
- Building rapport with clients and families;
- Accounts receivable, processing claims, and invoicing duties;
- Assisting therapists with administrative tasks relevant to therapy;
- General typing and computer work.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of NDIS administrative requirements and similar funding packages;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with practice management software, Medicare, and Eftpos (advantageous);
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word;
- A proactive approach to quality improvement;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Previous experience in a healthcare or allied health setting (advantageous);
- Compliance with Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, and First Aid certificate.
