Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Integration Specialist with a strong proficiency in Groovy Scripting to design, develop, implement, support and maintain robust integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Integration Solution Design & Development:
    • Design and develop end-to-end integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
    • Implement various integration patterns, including synchronous, asynchronous, message queuing and publish-subscribe.
    • Utilize adapters such as OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc and others as required.
    • Develop custom Groovy scripts for complex data mappings, transformations, validations, error handling and business logic within integration flows.
    • Work with various message formats, including XML, JSON, CSV and flat files.
  2. Technical Leadership & Best Practices:
    • Promote and enforce best practices for integration development, security, performance and monitoring within the SAP BTP Integration Suite.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration methodologies and standards.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  3. Troubleshooting & Support:
    • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of integration solutions.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to recurring problems.
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integration landscapes.
  4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, SAP module experts and external system owners to gather requirements and define integration specifications.
    • Translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
    • Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
    • Document integration designs, configurations and operational procedures.
  5. Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure all integration solutions adhere to security best practices and company compliance policies.
    • Implement robust error handling, logging and monitoring mechanisms.
