Coal Mine Production Lead

About the Role
We are seeking experienced production supervisors for current and future vacancies across our open cut mining assets in the Bowen Basin. These roles will report to the superintendent of coal production on various rosters, typically 7:7 and 6:6 rotating rosters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing, and coaching your team.
- Managing a team of experienced and new-to-industry operators, encouraging the development of their skills to support superior production outcomes.
- Applying a continuous improvement approach to identify and improve upon our operating philosophy and processes, ensuring quality and efficiency in our operations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support the continued development of a high-performing team. They will possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan, organise, and coordinate tasks within a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience with strong people management skills.
- Experience working in mining production roles.
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and similar systems and databases.
