Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Operations Consultant to join our Digital Legal Service Operations team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collate information from workshops and interviews, identifying key process improvements.
  • Develop and document comprehensive process maps, outlining 'as is' and 'to be' scenarios.
  • Analyze current and potential technology solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analysis and create compelling business cases.
  • Support project scoping, estimating, prioritization, and negotiation of system functionalities.
  • Create detailed business requirements documents and collaborate with technology experts to translate them into functional specifications.
  • Provide expert analytical support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and interpreting results.
  • Facilitate workshops and technology demonstrations to ensure stakeholder buy-in on business requirements, new processes, and technology solutions.
  • Transfer knowledge and best practices to the legal team and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in test planning and execution, ensuring seamless integration of new systems.
  • Contribute to business change planning and implementation, driving successful organizational transformation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve complex issues and manage competing priorities.
  • Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines and maintain the highest standards of cyber security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in professional services, preferably within the legal sector.
  • Expertise in new business intake and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise language.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a track record of achieving successful outcomes.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
  • Able to think innovatively and drive continuous improvement, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Proficient in using tools to manipulate data accurately and precisely.
  • Familiarity with the Software Delivery Lifecycle, with a solid understanding of its principles and best practices.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach, with a client-centric focus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related business analyst or operations consultant role.
