About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Practitioner to join our Trauma Service team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Trauma Fellow, you will provide clinical services of the highest standard to trauma patients, both individually and through leadership and contribution to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate assessment and management of severely injured trauma patients
  • Develop skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitate patients' journey through the hospital
  • Contribute to teaching Medical Students and Trainee Medical Officers, and where appropriate, Nursing and Allied Health staff
  • Participate in regular clinical audit and quality, safety, and clinical risk management activities, as well as continuous medical education
