About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trauma Fellow to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Trauma Fellow, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to Trauma Service patients, both in terms of individual performance and by providing clinical leadership and contribution to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate assessment and management of severely injured trauma patients
- Develop skills in being the Trauma Team Leader and facilitate patients' journey through the hospital
- Participate in regular weekly clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities and continuous medical education activities
- Have an active involvement in teaching Medical Students and Trainee Medical Officers and, where appropriate, Nursing and Allied Health staff
