About This Opportunity

This is a leadership position to shape mental health and wellbeing support in Mildura.

As the leader of daily operations, you'll oversee a team of around 30 people across psychosocial, clinical and lived experience disciplines.

This role offers the chance to lead with purpose, balancing operational excellence with compassionate people leadership and forward-looking strategic thinking.

You'll create an environment where people feel supported and empowered to thrive.

Strengthen connections with community, consortium partners and service users, with collaboration at the centre of everything you do.

  • Mental health, wellbeing or similar senior leadership experience (5+ years)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology or another mental health-related field, with registration where applicable
  • Able to lead and support a diverse team across practice areas
  • Strong skills in partnership development, data-informed decision making and continuous improvement practices
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on safety, quality and accountability
  • Satisfactory checks, willingness to undertake if necessary

The Mildura Mental Health and Wellbeing Local supports adults aged 26 years and over who are experiencing mental health challenges.

This service is delivered in partnership to ensure care is local, responsive and inclusive.
