The Support and Connect Team Lead is a pivotal role within our organisation, overseeing a team of Peer Wellbeing Navigators who provide vital support to individuals in recovery.
This position combines leadership skills with a deep understanding of mental health, requiring the ability to mentor and guide team members while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and accessible service environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a peer wellbeing team, fostering a culture where team members feel empowered and supported
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive meaningful change in local mental health services, ensuring participant experiences are safe, respectful, and inclusive
- Embed a culture of inclusivity, respect, and safety across all aspects of the service
You will be a compassionate and values-driven leader, possessing a strong understanding of the importance of lived experience in shaping effective mental health supports. As an inclusive and community-minded individual, you bring curiosity, integrity, and care to your leadership.
Requirements:- A minimum of 3 years of senior leadership experience within a mental health setting
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology, or another related field, with relevant registration (e.g. AHPRA)
- Ability to lead and motivate a designated lived experience workforce
- Demonstrated expertise in embedding lived experience across models of care
- Capacity to analyse data, identify trends, and inform decision-making to improve service delivery
- Compliance with necessary checks (National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check)
