We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter Leading Hand to join our Preservation Team on the Perdaman Project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing preservation procedures for static and rotating equipment, including vessels, tanks, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and air coolers. They will also be responsible for implementing preservation procedures for E&I equipment, including electrical systems, instrumentation, motors, substations, HVAC, RIE's, and battery rooms.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing preservation procedures for static and rotating equipment
  • Implementing preservation procedures for E&I equipment
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintaining preservation logs
  • Applying protective coatings, inerting, flushing, and sealing as needed
  • Coordinating with construction and commissioning teams

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Construction White/Blue Card
  • Technical knowledge or relevant certification
  • Experience in LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries
  • Strong knowledge of equipment preservation techniques and industry standards
  • Ability to work in a high-safety, fast-paced environment
  • Working at Height, EWP, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres
  • A current Driver's License
  • Full Working Rights in Australia
