We are a global leader in the life sciences industry, dedicated to saving lives and innovating for tangible impact. As a Business Development Manager – Manufacturing Capacity Solutions, you will thrive in a culture of belonging where your unique viewpoint matters.
You will work closely with internal teams, including product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams, as well as key technical partners, to drive commercial discussions with customers in gene and cell therapy manufacturing process design decisions support.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Lead the commercial discussion with key customers on our overall offering by expertly navigating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across the region for Process Development, Flex Factories, Aseptic filling, complex hardware or customized hardware and other services.
- Ensure collaboration in all parts of the commercial organization, building internal stakeholders and Account Management synergy to continually increase customer qualification, as well as accelerating the development of sales opportunities.
- Work directly with project managers, lead system design engineers, process design engineers, and the site implementation team within Enterprise Hardware Solutions to deliver complex FlexFactories, KUBio or Hardware Solutions successfully to customers.
- 10+ years' experience in engineering/biopharma/Life Sciences.
- Proven commercial track record in multiple Bioprocessing modalities, with Product Management/Offering/Large deals expertise.
- Strong manufacturing and engineering knowledge including quality and regulatory understanding of the Bioprocessing modalities, including Gene Therapy and mRNA fields.
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
- Demonstrated high level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact, and which builds effective partnerships.
