About the Role

We are seeking a values-driven Centre Manager who will strategically develop and manage client-centred service delivery, operations, and people of Townsville AOD Service to ensure an inclusive service is provided in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee service delivery ensuring quality service delivery and that participants receive services in a timely manner, appropriate case management, assessment and referral, education and support within a client-focused recovery framework, in line with The Salvation Army's (TSA) AOD model of care.
  • Ensure services are inclusive, accessible and responsive for our diverse participants
  • Delivery of state agendas and operational/local plans aligned to national agendas
  • Oversight of practice and service delivery
  • Line management & supervision of staff
  • Ensure recruitment of quality & qualified workers

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field OR demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study/development.
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment including in leading and supervising staff.
  • A QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required.
