Accounts Receivable Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update resident accounts and fees with 100% precision.
  • Create and send ad hoc invoices as required, process RAD repayments in line with legislation and strict timeframes.
  • Collect and allocate incoming payments, reconcile accounts and maintain a clean debtors ledger.
  • Maintain accurate records for admissions, discharges, and account updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the aged care sector.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Inerva accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with external clients and ensuring timely debt collection.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for data accuracy and account integrity.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
