**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). As a Speech Pathology Specialist, you will deliver high-quality services to patients and provide clinical/professional support to less experienced speech pathologists.
**About the Role**
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide communication and swallowing services to acute adult patients. You will be responsible for assessing and managing complex caseloads, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver high-quality speech pathology services to patients across weekdays and weekends* Provide clinical/professional support to less experienced speech pathologists* Assess and manage complex caseloads, including high acuity/complexity cases* Develop treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes* Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
**Requirements**
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification* Current National Police Clearance (NPC)* Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team* High level of autonomy and self-motivation
