University Lecturer in Speech Pathology

We are seeking an experienced and talented University Lecturer in Speech Pathology to join our School of Allied Health Science and Practice within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to delivering our innovative Speech Pathology teaching and research programs with our inclusive, future-focused team.
The successful candidate will bring their expertise in developing and delivering education materials for the Speech Pathology Program and play a pivotal role in teaching and research/scholarship at the University of Adelaide.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the operational delivery of the Speech Pathology program and broader activities within the School of Allied Health Science and Practice and Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
We welcome applicants with special interests in areas such as Child Speech and Language, Fluency, and Clinical/Practice Education.
To be successful, applicants will need:
- A completion of an Honours degree, higher qualifications or equivalent experience; and a Bachelor or Master's qualifying degree in Speech Pathology, and clinical and/or research experience;
- Experience in curriculum development and in the delivery of high-quality, student-centered teaching as this relates to undergraduate speech pathology, or broader allied health programs;
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate contemporary approaches to teaching and learning into course delivery, including through using new technologies to support educational outcomes;
- Ability to implement successful research projects or activities, and experience with developing relationships and partnerships that foster successful research activities;
- Ability to supervise student research and/or other student project activities, including demonstrated skills in mentoring, planning, overseeing and delivering projects;
- Demonstrated commitment to the professional development of self and activities that support the Speech Pathology profession.
The estimated salary for this position is $125,000 per annum plus 17% superannuation. We offer a wide range of attractive staff benefits, including salary packaging, flexible work arrangements, high-quality professional development programs, and on-campus facilities.
