About the Role:

The Speech Pathologist is an experienced clinician who delivers high-quality services to patients and provides clinical support to less experienced speech pathologists within CALHN. This role involves delivering inpatient communication and swallowing services to an acute adult caseload, ensuring quality care and improved outcomes for patients.

The successful candidate will work independently to provide evidence-based practice and contribute to efficient multidisciplinary management and care of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inpatient communication and swallowing services to an acute adult caseload
  • Provide clinical/professional support to less experienced speech pathologists
  • Contribute to efficient multidisciplinary management and care of patients

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology degree or equivalent entry-level qualification leading to eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia
