We are launching The Local Production, a full-service specialist agency focused on creating content to elevate brands.

The successful candidate will have overall accountability for our production output, forming part of the leadership group and covering strategy, people management, delivery and process improvement.

  • Contribute to company strategy, processes and delivery to ensure a world-class experience for clients.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the production team including editors, producers and videographers.
  • Build career pathways for the production department, set objectives and manage performance reviews while coaching and mentoring the team to ensure they are happy, healthy, and engaged.
  • Manage top-tier clients with professionalism and confidence.
  • Review and refresh company processes, workflows and tooling to meet industry best practices.

Experience you'll need...

  • Previous experience as a senior production leader or similar in a media production company.
  • People management: proven experience building and leading efficient teams.
  • Process improvement: share examples of times your ideas boosted efficiency.
  • Technical knowledge: understanding of video production and ability to engage with shooters, producers and editors.
  • Commercial knowledge: understanding of business side of media production and holistic approach to strategy planning.
