Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead strategic transformation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in telecommunications, program governance, and agile delivery to drive complex programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NBN technology and systems, with a track record of driving large-scale transformation programs within NBNCo and related environments.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end delivery of transformation programs, defining and executing strategic roadmaps aligned with commercial and operational goals, overseeing cloud migration initiatives, managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships, implementing agile frameworks and DevSecOps practices, driving stakeholder engagement and change management, and monitoring program success metrics.

Mandatory experience includes minimum 20+ years' experience in managing complex IT programmes and 5+ years in NBN technology and systems, demonstrated success in managing complex IT & Network transformation NBNCo programs, deep understanding of NBN's commercial models, IT solutioning, and operational practices, experience with data governance, analytics platforms, and enterprise-wide transformation, and proven ability to lead agile delivery teams and implement SAFe practices.

Preferred qualifications include SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications, Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, experience in stakeholder management across C-Level and operational teams, strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, and core competencies in program/project management, agile leadership & coaching, transformation planning & execution, risk & governance frameworks.
