We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive innovation in data solutions that support our mission of delivering compassionate, client-focused care.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. Your expertise will help us empower aged care operations and reporting through cutting-edge data management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration across clinical, financial, and care platforms.
  • Develop and support ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions that enhance aged care operations and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy legislation.
  • Support data modelling for analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.
  • Optimise data storage and compute performance across platforms.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development and data integration.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, and modern data stack technologies.
  • Strong skills in C#, Python, SQL, PowerShell, and Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and Australian Privacy Principles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams.
