We're seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver high-performing data solutions that drive business value.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration across platforms.
  • Create and support ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions that enhance operations and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulations.
  • Support data modelling for analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.
  • Optimise data storage and compute performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in software development and integration practices.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development and data integration.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, and modern data stack technologies.
  • Strong skills in C#, Python, SQL, PowerShell, and Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and Australian Privacy Principles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams.
