Key Responsibilities- Process Standardization: Ensure the standardization of processes across various Infrastructure Services towers for Defence Operations.
- Delivery Optimization: Optimize delivery and resourcing models and strategies to improve delivery, reduce cost, and meet customer requirements.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that business operations and performance comply with senior management direction, governance requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, direct, develop, and motivate a team to drive high employee engagement and performance.
- Talent Development: Ensure continuous development of employees, staff are appropriately mentored, trained, and certified, and build a talent and leadership pipeline to support future growth and business needs.
- Strategic Leadership: Continually lead, review, develop, and update leading-edge strategy and core process and business improvements across the business area, focusing on quality, innovation, and adding value.
- Alignment and Collaboration: Ensure alignment of initiatives to the business strategy and values and collaborate across the rest of the business to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Operational Experience: 5+ years working in an operational role supporting complex ICT systems and services.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Good understanding of Infrastructure and Network Management Systems and related operational monitoring approaches.
- Leadership Experience: Experience mentoring and influencing team members and providing thought leadership within an engineering team.
- Incident Management: Experience working with incident management in an ICT context.
- Technology Gap Identification: Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.
- Clearance: Due to the sensitive nature of this environment, an NV2 clearance is essential.
