Position Overview

The Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in the tactical implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at achieving the marketing goals for the centre while enhancing the customer experience for the local community.

This position will collaborate closely with the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager and the National Marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies and execute the Centre's Marketing plan in alignment with the Vision Strategy and Action Plan (VSA's). Additionally, the Marketing Executive will work with the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager to create localized tactical activity briefs that reflect local needs while adhering to VSA pillars and national guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong rapport with retail partners, ensuring consistent and meaningful communication and reporting.
  • Analyze the local competitive landscape and customer insights to tailor the Centre marketing plan for effective community engagement, activations, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Digital and Social Specialist to execute social and digital initiatives, including monitoring and reporting outcomes.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, campaigns, and activations, including risk assessments and daily management during each initiative.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and governance requirements, including briefing on terms and conditions.
  • Manage financial responsibilities such as raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and participating in the budgeting process.
  • Localize the national sustainability strategy, focusing on relationship management, community bookings, and data reporting.
  • Provide operational support for the Centre, including customer service desk assistance, visual merchandising, and new store support.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including report preparation and participation in meetings, while managing performance metrics related to traffic, sales, and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in results-oriented marketing. You should possess a proven track record in executing marketing events and activities that align with marketing objectives and target customer segments. Key qualifications include:
