About the Role

Purpose of the Position

The Marketing Executive plays a crucial role in the tactical implementation of key marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at achieving the marketing goals for the centre while enhancing the customer experience for the local community.

This position will assist the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager and the National Marketing team in crafting marketing strategies and executing the Centre's Marketing plan, ensuring alignment with the Vision Strategy and Action Plan (VSA). Additionally, the Marketing Executive will collaborate with the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager to create localized tactical activity briefs that resonate with the VSA pillars and national resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong rapport with retail partners, ensuring consistent and meaningful communication and reporting.
  • Analyze the local competitive landscape and customer insights to tailor the Centre's marketing strategy for enhanced community engagement and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Digital and Social Specialist to execute social media and digital initiatives, including monitoring and reporting outcomes.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, campaigns, and activations, including risk assessments and daily management.
  • Handle legal and compliance responsibilities, including briefing terms and conditions and escalating compliance matters to relevant teams.
  • Manage financial aspects, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and participating in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Localize the national sustainability strategy, focusing on relationship management, community bookings, and data reporting.
  • Provide operational support for the Centre, including conducting site walks, assisting at the customer service desk, managing visual merchandising, and supporting new store openings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing reports, attending meetings, and managing performance metrics related to traffic, sales, and compliance.
