About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our venue. The Venue Manager will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for guests, managing staff, and maintaining the venue's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff members. Develop schedules, manage performance, and foster a positive work environment to ensure high levels of team engagement and productivity.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all patrons.
  • Event Coordination: Work closely with the events team to support the setup and execution of upcoming events. Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure events are carried out successfully.
  • Financial Management: Manage the venue's budget, including cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting and forecasting. Monitor and optimise revenue streams to achieve financial targets.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the venue and attract guests. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and manage social media presence.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality service delivery. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to support venue operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in venue management or a related role.
  • Experience in an events-driven venue preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reports.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
