Junior Estimator Role

The role is with a multi-disciplined firm in pole position to win projects in the government contract space. From concept through to completion, their depth and knowledge of successfully winning small to major design and construction build project's hold them in a sought-after position.

As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with the estimating manager on a large level of tenders, including schools projects, NSW public works, and aged care projects.

The successful applicant will be a committed individual, ambitious and driven, with a go-get attitude and energy. They will be looking to improve themselves and add value to an already successful firm.

  • Supervise subcontractor tender prices in a timely manner.
  • Take offs.
  • Bills of Quantities.
  • Packaging.
  • Manage Proposal documentation and drawings.
  • Reading plans.
  • Support the estimating manager in the preparation of tenders.
  • Prepare take offs and estimates.

To be successful, you will need a construction management or project management degree and 2 years' experience working for a recognised Australian building contractor (head contractor) in a similar capacity.
