Maintenance Operations Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality maintenance solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing mobile equipment maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with statutory and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities to meet business objectives.
  • Solve technical and logistical problems to ensure efficient use of resources and equipment.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
  • Identify skill gaps among team members and develop strategies to close these gaps.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and performance.
Requirements:
  • Trade certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician.
  • At least 5 years post-trade experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large fleets of mobile mining machinery.
  • Mine system maintenance experience.
  • General computer skills.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Mentoring and coaching experience preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of planning, scheduling, plant availability, and preventative maintenance processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
