Becoming a leader in a dynamic manufacturing environment requires exceptional skills and experience. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of a site and relevant department, ensuring the delivery of year-on-year objectives for safety, quality, cost, reliability, and delivery.

This role involves working closely with the Production Lead to support the implementation of safety, quality, and operational excellence initiatives. You will also assist the NPD team with product scoping and transition through the stage gate process into Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing essential support in SQP, planning, staffing, coordination, SAP, and budget adherence
  • Serving as the on-site point of contact and supporting NPD processes
  • Assisting the Production Lead in overseeing manufacturing sites and coordinating travel between locations
  • Supporting Transformation initiatives across Operations and collaborating with the Training Coordinators

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Dairy manufacturing knowledge and demonstrated production or manufacturing expertise
  • Knowledge and experience within SAP and a current Australian driver's license
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to positively influence people and initiate change independently or through teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A commitment to personal development and logical/lateral thinking skills with a capacity for innovation
