We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Approval Specialist to join our team on a landmark project in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project permits, approvals, and interfaces with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and internal departments are managed efficiently and effectively.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement programs to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Identify and break down authorities' requirements for specific approvals.
- Cascade roles and responsibilities within the home-office team.
- Coordinate interactions between the company and regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal departments.
- Manage project consultants engaged to support environmental aspects of permitting in Western Australia.
- Evaluate projects for adherence to necessary regulations and obtain required approvals.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the energy or oil and gas industry.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar statutory interface role.
- Experience with EPC or lump-sum type projects.
