Senior Geotechnical Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Tailings Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical and operational support for Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs) and Water Storage Facilities (WSF). As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and management of TSFs and WSF projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;
- Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
- Understanding of tailing deposition modelling;
- Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;
- Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field;
- At least 8 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment;
- Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software;
- Excellent writing and communication skills;
