Product Visionary Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Product Visionary to join our team. This role requires an individual with expertise in AI systems and solutions, as well as experience in driving improvements to efficiency and productivity in mining or heavy industrial applications.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing vision for AI systems and solutions, leading quarterly planning sessions, and conducting data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business cases for new AI systems and solutions, including value opportunity sizing, delivery model, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features, including clear documentation to enable development.
  • Build, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria to feed into each sprint and accepting sprint results.
  • Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solutions enter production, including adoption and impact.
  • In collaboration with technical leadership, define the set of necessary competencies and skills required in the delivery team.
  • Drive user adoption and engagement, running demos and showcases to target users and the broader business.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 7+ years of experience in either AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines (i.e., mining, blending, supply chain operations) with technical project delivery experience.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas (e.g., operations, technology).
  • Background that comprises solid business understanding and high-level understanding of product delivery.
  • Modern product development toolkit including experience in agile development and OKR methodologies, lean testing and user research, and product roadmap development & vision creation.
  • Experience in the use of AI solutions & systems to drive improvements to efficiency and productivity in mining or heavy industrial application.
