Electrical and Instrumentation Systems Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified technician to undertake installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on both electrical and instrumentation systems with a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure system integrity and compliance with safety standards.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed.
  • Participating in continuous training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • NT Electrical Licence (with the ability to apply for mutual recognition).
  • Instrumentation Cert III or IV.
  • Hazardous Areas Certificate.
  • Ability to pass an Instrumentation Verification on Competency.
  • Construction Industry White Card.
  • LVR / CPR.
  • First Aid (desirable).
  • Working at Height.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • The ability to successfully complete D&A testing.
