Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Graduate Diploma of Midwifery student. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and develop your skills in midwifery, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to birthing people and their families
  • Work collaboratively with obstetrics and gynaecology, social work, Koori maternity services, perinatal mental health, and physio teams
  • Participate in clinical placements and rotations across the midwifery continuum, including antenatal clinic, birthing suites, postnatal ward, and neonatal unit
  • Develop and apply knowledge through a structured program, with clinical support and timely feedback from experienced Clinical Midwifery Educators, Clinical Support Midwives, and Midwifery and Neonatal teams
Requirements
  • Completion of Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current National Police History Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Registered Nurse as per APHRA registration
  • Recent acute medical/surgical experience (minimum 12 months, preferable 2 years)
