The role of Project Manager is crucial in delivering impactful projects that drive value and improvement in the energy and resources sectors. In this capacity, you will plan, manage, and deliver key project outcomes within the Energy & Resources Program.

As a skilled project manager, you will work under the direction of the Projects Team Lead to deliver projects with significant impact and value, collaborating with colleagues across programs and managing technical input from various areas. Your advanced project management skills and ability to adapt processes to suit each project will ensure appropriate control and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, including financial and resource forecasts, to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate project records and contribute to the development of project management governance standards, processes, and templates.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that supports the Bureau's Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Bureau policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree or diploma from a recognized educational institution, or equivalent qualifications, are essential for this role.

About the Role

This ongoing full-time role is located in Perth, Melbourne, and Brisbane, with other capital city office locations potentially considered. The selection process will establish a merit pool that may be used to fill similar positions within 18 months.
