Job Title: Support Professional for Independence
We provide person-centered support for individuals living with a disability. Our innovative approach focuses on empowering customers to become more independent in their own homes and communities.
- Mentor customers to explore and develop personal interests and hobbies.
- Cooking, domestic, and social skills coaching to promote independence.
- Administer medication and adhere to individualized support plans.
- Prepare clear, concise handover notes and incident reports.
- Provide personal care when required, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing.
- Help customers engage with local communities through community participation programs and recreational activities.
Requirements:
- Will to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
- Versatile communication skills, including interacting with both verbal and non-verbal customers.
- Current driver's license is mandatory.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003.
- Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar are advantageous.
