We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
Main Responsibilities:- You will perform routine laboratory testing according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Your key task will be to record and report test results accurately, maintaining data integrity and traceability.
- Another critical aspect is to assist in identifying and reporting any anomalies or deviations in test results.
- You will also conduct maintenance and calibration checks on laboratory equipment as scheduled.
- An important responsibility is to promptly report equipment faults or calibration issues to ensure minimal disruption to testing activities and hazards, incidents, or near misses in accordance with site procedures.
- Key to success is adherence to laboratory quality procedures and contributing to compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA requirements.
- Furthermore, you will participate in internal quality control activities, including sample preparation, duplicate testing, and documentation.
- Supporting the upkeep of laboratory registers and documentation systems is another crucial aspect.
- You will work collaboratively with other technicians and site teams to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
- Finally, you will participate in training programs to maintain competency and stay current with laboratory procedures and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
- A strong eagerness to learn and grow is necessary for success in this role.
- Competency with MS Suite is required.
- A Certificate IV in Laboratory Operations is desirable but not mandatory.
