Laboratory Manager

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced laboratory manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a laboratory team, prioritizing work-flow to meet client requirements, ensuring results are released within agreed turnaround times, liaising with senior staff and pathologists regarding unusual and abnormal results, and overseeing the management of laboratory equipment.

About You

  • You must hold a tertiary degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful partnerships.
  • Experience in working under tight deadlines to meet day to day targets, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks within set timeline.
  • Results orientated and a proactive and effective problem solver.
  • Proven skills in defining, prioritising, and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity.
