Senior Group Reporting Manager - Multinational Infrastructure

About the Role
Our client, a leading multinational organisation, is seeking a Senior Group Reporting Manager to join their head office team. As a key member of the finance team, you will have the opportunity to progress your career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

The Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the preparation of financial and group reporting duties, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Statutory Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including the preparation of general purpose and special purpose financial statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making, including financial assessment for tenders and business development opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including the rollout of new systems and processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a Finance Manager, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial reporting and analysis tasks.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives, as required, to support the growth and development of the organisation.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • CA/CPA Qualification: Hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant qualification.
  • Big 4/Mid-Tier Experience: Have experience working in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Technical Accounting Skills: Possess strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in statutory reporting, governance, compliance, and controls.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Have a track record of leading process improvement initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience working in a large ASX-listed or multinational organisation, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
