Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to establish and guide a team dedicated to ensuring information retention practices meet legal, regulatory, and business requirements.

This role offers the chance to work across the organisation, engaging with technical and senior business stakeholders to drive solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of staff to identify, document, and validate maximum retention timeframes for business information assets containing personal information.
  • Assigning, tracking, and managing day-to-day team activities to ensure outcomes are delivered on time.
  • Consulting and negotiating with technical, compliance, and governance teams to implement required solutions.
  • Engaging with business units and senior managers to agree on maximum retention requirements for personal information.
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of controls, monitoring mechanisms, and governance processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading small teams and managing day-to-day delivery.
  • Skilled in workload allocation, setting clear priorities, and fostering accountability.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, including working with senior managers.
  • Solid understanding of privacy compliance requirements, particularly relevant principles.
  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into practical system and process controls.
  • Ability to communicate complex requirements effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to track progress and report on outcomes.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and governance skills to provide visibility of progress to senior management.
