Your contributionAs the Team Leader, you will manage a team of officers with responsibility for key deliverables, which may include management of complex environmental issues, regulation of environmentally relevant activities, compliance and complaints management, incident response and the day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving required for the team to meet its objectives. As part of specific work being undertaken within the Ipswich region, you will be required to participate in site visits or investigations being conducted in the area however may be required to assist in other locations across Queensland. Officers must have the flexibility to participate in fieldwork as allocated. This may require you to work away from your normal business centre and reside in accommodation provided by the department on an as required basis. On occasion, officers may also be required to participate in lengthy inspection or investigation campaigns that require up to 7 days continuous compliance field work;this will be with appropriate compensation as per the relevant industrial instrument.Your roleThe Compliance Delivery Manager, (AO7) is a role in which you will: - Lead and manage a team to meet key deliverables through day-to-day planning, operation and problem solving required to meet objectives. Assist in developing strategic plans and allocating resources to effectively deliver projects and programs of work. Provide advice and recommendations to a wide range of customers on complex and sensitive issues
