Alfred Health is a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality services to the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne. We cater to patients with complex mental health conditions, including trauma and sexual abuse, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health issues.
About the Role
This position involves providing clinical expertise as a Specialist Women's Mental Health Centre (the Centre) physician. The successful candidate will work 24 hours a week from February to August 2025 to cover parental leave backfill.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- A medical degree and registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA without restrictions.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in psychiatry.
- Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in psychiatry.
- Desirable skills include teaching experience and research involvement.
Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
