About Fleet Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the management of our city's fleet, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and meets the needs of our residents.

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and experience in fleet management, including procurement, plant maintenance and plant management. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of fleet management principles and practices, including:

  • Developing and implementing effective fleet management strategies;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of fleet assets and activities;
  • Coordinating the tender process for the City's fleet and plant, including the development of tender specifications and tender documents;
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
